Waves of Inanition is a light-based sculpture exploring the television as a phenomenological object—the seduction of the screen, and the relationship established between the viewer and the viewed.

The allure of the screen, but the denial of the image facilitates a shift in the relationship between the audience, the work, and the space that both exist in. Through the lens, the viewer becomes the viewed, affecting the work while the interaction with the work within the space is reflected by the work’s interaction with the space.
