Banshee is an auditory sculpture that explores the relationship between human / technology, performance / sculpture, and presence / absence. Analogue synthesizers running through a large speaker system are positioned to suggest performance, however without a human performer, this work becomes sculptural—through both the physical object, as well as the physical and auditory effects the sound is producing.
